Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. Her brothers include Gregory, her older brother and Evan. From the age of nine till 16, she started being involved in the business of entertainment via modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting methods for about three years.
