Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. She has a mother who is English and her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. She studied acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was a part of various performances on stage during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her debut motion-picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. She was Bambi on The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast as Ashley Davenport. After being a regular for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the premiere episode from the 3rd season. She was Tituba in the TV show Salem in 2014 until 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her four older brothers were also in the family including twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were all very athletic, played hockey during the winters and baseball in the summer, so that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley didn't walk, instead she danced. In the age of two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in top-level divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed in high school. Additionally, she was awarded top soloists awards in all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
